How It Works

You are just 4 easy steps away from getting in touch with your own Out of State Agent! Here’s how to do it:

1. Fill out our Find your Agent form! It will ask you for your contact information, plus questions on your budget, timeline, location and preferences for your ideal agent.  

2. Submit our Find your Agent form! Once you hit submit, you’ll receive a confirmation email letting you know that we are working on your request. Give us about 24-48 hours to follow up with you after that initial email. 

3. Connect with your Out of State Agent! After we’ve identified the right real estate agent for your specific needs, we will connect you with an introductory email. After that, we make our exit and let you two take it from there. (We’ll check in from time to time.)

4. Complete your real estate transaction! With your trusty Out of State Agent by your side, you can have the confidence — and expertise of a local realtor — to complete the sale or purchase of your out-of-town property.

Can you find me an agent in my current city?

Yes, of course! If you need help finding an agent a little closer to home, we can also do that. Just submit the online form with your current city.

What if I don’t like the agent?

We understand that personalities can sometimes clash. If you are unhappy with your first Out of State Agent, we can assign you a new one.  

Can I interview the agent first?

Our goal is to simplify the process of finding an agent for you by matching you with just one agent. However, if you would like to interview a few agents before deciding whom to work with, we can connect you with three different agents and you can speak to each before making your choice. Please specify you would like to connect with multiple agents when you fill out the online form.

Do I have to sign a contract?

We will never ask you to sign a contract. Your use of our services is at your own will in accordance with our Terms of Use. However, your Out of State Agent may ask you to sign a contract with them, usually a listing agreement to sell a property or a buyer representation agreement to purchase a property. Out of State Agent is not a party to the negotiations of those contracts or the real estate transaction that follows as a result of those contracts. 

How do you get paid?

Our Out of State Agents pay us a small referral fee for sending them business, ensuring that our services always stay free for you. 

Can you find me more than one agent?

Yes, absolutely. To find agents in multiple cities, just add more cities to the online form.
